Family,
This week is Thanksgiving. Families will come together, turkey’s will be cooked and pumpkin pie will be shared. We all know that Thanksgiving is not just the one time of year we give thanks, but it is one time of the year that we focus on the power of being thankful. Thankfulness isn’t just the response to a blessing or a reaction to a need being met, it is a mindset, a heart condition. The lifestyle of thankfulness places us in a position to be blessed beyond our need. It allows us to walk in the fullness of what Christ has done for us and what He is doing right now. This week, enjoy the holiday, enjoy your family, and definitely enjoy the turkey, but make sure you take time to thank God for who He is, not just for what He has done and allow the fullness of His goodness to overflow in and through your life!
Living Thankfully,
Pastors Matthew and Siobhan Oliver
