Its Christmas Time,
All around us you can see that the holiday is in full swing. Lights are going up on the houses, trees are being decorated in homes, children are eager to get out of school to celebrate. The holidays create such a sense of excitement, expectancy and joy, not just for presents but for the celebration of something real. So often we feel we have to tamp down the excitement of Christmas, we have been told we have to taper our enthusiasm, don’t get to caught up in the festivities, remember the true meaning of Christmas. But to me, the festivities, the excitement, the enthusiam is part of the true meaning of Christmas. I don’t want to celebrate Christ in morbid fashion, I want to go all out with outragous joy, with passionate celebration. This year, don’t limit, reduce, or minimize who Christ is in your life and what He has done, celebrate Him loudly and allow the world around you to see the testimony of Him in your life! We hold the revelation to the true meaning of the mystery of Christmas so let all those around you know it as well!
“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”
Time to start singing,
Pastors Matthew and Siobhan Oliver
